Deck-Tite Green Deck Screw 50mm Qty 500

Deck-Tite’s unique thread pitch to core size ratio offers the perfect balance between ease of insertion and pull-out retention whilst increasing the core’s sheer strength to match the thread pitch. It is a tri-lock thread which forms, not cuts, a thread in the material, expanding the wood around the screw, ensuring a tight and secure fix. This thread is formed by forming a thread in the material, not cutting it. There will be no movement of the screw once it has been driven in. Unique Net-Coat plating withstands the elements and works to combat the effects of galvanic corrosion, providing 1000 hours+ protection. CPT hardened to provide an ultra strong core strength, the screws should not snap and in most applications, there’s no need to pilot. A coarse, single thread clamps boards fast with a high pull-out retention whilst the partial thread prevents ‘jacking’ of the materials. Patented Tri-Lock thread expands timbers for a fast drive with reduced torque, the timbers then contracts around the screw for a solid fix that will not work loose. Double collar provides strength and allows for a deeper recess for a secure drive with reduced cam-out. Ideal for use in decking, pressured treated timbers, fencing and outdoor structures.
